Food was great as always, service was great as always... Wednesday night of First Four NCAA Mens basketball. Not one TV has Mens BB, pickleball, late 2000's NFL game, ESPN Women's bracket, golf..... come on be better. Your Sports bar card has been taken away...

Yes I would Highly recommend this restaurant! We had a hockey tournament and a party of 30. They were very good at making it work for our large party! Never one had to ask for a refill, they were on too of it. The food was Great! I Had the pick 2 linvh special Have sandwich have soup. The portabella panini and the ale cheddar soup. Then I have their barbecue chicken salad which was my favorite. My husband had the Red oak burger it was so yummy w the garlic aiol and the Onion Rings are HUGE and to die for!! Lol My girlfriend, she got the fish tacos. And they looked so good. They were loaded and her husband got a fish sandwich. It was so big. I have never seen a fish sandwich in my life. That was that big. He said it was amazing in the best fishsandwitch he's ever had. So one of my kids having eight piece teriyaki chicken wings 9 out of 10, The others had mac and cheese bowls and french fries. Which they liked but was not really filling enough. Over all we can't wait to come back and try something new!

This was my second time here and my co-workers first time. The service was great and the food came out delicious. We liked the large and well placed TV's. It is a very fun atmosphere, I will be back.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised on how good the food was. My friend took us all here to show us their burgers and wings since we were in town and I'm glad he picked this place. My wife got their wings and I got their classic burger. Great staff who took our order and the others interacted with us as we waited. When the food came out, it was super delicious. Unfortunately, they don't ask how you like your burgers so that means all are well done. For well done, it was actually delicious.l, even though I prefer medium. The fries were also delicious.

Red Oak Pub is a very good gastropub. The food is excellent. I ordered a hamburger and a side salad. They were both excellent. Their salads are really awesome and fresh. Their hamburgers are a great choice also. I have eaten there many times and I am never disappointed. Our server was really good and the ambience was okay. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed.

My friend and I visited this restaurant for lunch. It was busy but we were quickly seated. Our server was very friendly. The menu featured many delicious options. I settled on a Turkey BLT Wrap. I opted for Sweet Potato Fries as my side. The food quickly arrived. The wrap tasted great. My only gripe is the wrap had a bit too much mayonnaise. The Sweet Potato Fries were amazing. The fries included a sweet dipping sauce. The sauce was a perfect pairing for the fries. I encourage folks to check out Red Oak if you are in the area.

If you have never dipped sweet potato fries in caramel, add this to your must do foodie list. The Red Oak Pub came recommended Bioc coworker who lives in this area, I was traveling for business. He said that I had to try the peanut butter bacon burger on a pretzel brioche bun and I needed to get the home cut beer breaded fries and dip them in the homemade tomato soup. This all sounded like a lot of crazy but I'm always up for a challenge. The creamy tomato soup had a little bit of cheese on top and was superb alone. Dipping the fries and the tomato soup kind of made the fries taste like a delicious crunchy type of ravioli dipped into a good creamy Red sauce. My coworker decided to go with the rodeo burger, sweet potato fries and caramel based upon a recommendation of the waitress. At this point we just decided to have some fun with our meal and make it a food experience. We shared and tried everything we had at the table and it was just a memorable, flavorful experience. I also tried dipping the burger in the tomato soup and that was a great flavor. Give this place a try if you are in Newark and don't be afraid to try something new. This will forever be a favorite for me.
